🚀 About Us

We’re Bolt.new by StackBlitz!

We’re the team behind WebContainers, the groundbreaking technology that made it possible to run Node.js right in your browser. No installs, no setup, just instant dev environments. That innovation kickstarted our journey in 2019 and powers the blazing-fast online IDE used by over a million developers every month.

But we didn’t stop there.

We took everything we learned from building WebContainers and used it to create Bolt.new. The fastest way to go from idea to production without writing traditional code. Think of it as the Canva or Figma for full-stack applications: a next-gen, AI-powered builder that lets you create, edit, and deploy web and mobile apps instantly, right in your browser.

WebContainers make it possible. Bolt.new brings it to life. Together, they reimagine what it means to build software lowering the barrier to entry, speeding up workflows, and unlocking creativity for the next generation of builders.

We’re a globally distributed, fully remote team of passionate engineers, designers, and creatives building the future of software development. If you love shipping fast, solving real problems, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible we’d love to meet you.

✨ About This Opportunity

Bolt.new grew to 5M+ users and $40M+ ARR almost entirely through organic virality. Now we need to build the paid acquisition engine to take us to the next level. We're hiring our first Head of Demand Generation to own paid channels, campaign strategy, landing pages, webinars, and marketing attribution. You'll build the playbook, manage a multi-million dollar ad budget, and create the scalable, measurable growth motions our team is looking to nail. This is a foundational hire with direct impact on revenue.

🛠️ How You'll Contribute
  • Own the paid demand generation strategy end-to-end — acquisition channels, campaign execution, webinars, and landing pages
  • Manage and optimize paid channels across Google Ads, Meta, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Plan and execute webinars, virtual events, and co-marketing campaigns that drive pipeline
  • Build high-converting landing pages for campaigns, product launches, audience segments, and partner initiatives (e.g., agency landing page)
  • Own marketing attribution and reporting — build the measurement framework so we can tie spend to signups, upgrades, and revenue
  • Collaborate with Growth (in-product experimentation, lifecycle marketing) and Product Marketing (launches) to ensure campaigns align with product moments
  • Own budget allocation across channels and optimize spend based on CAC, LTV, and payback period
  • Manage agency relationships and hold external partners accountable to performance targets
  • Test aggressively — new channels, new creatives, new audiences, new formats — and kill what doesn't work fast
💡 Qualifications
  • 6+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing, with at least 2 years leading the function
  • Proven track record scaling paid acquisition profitably across multiple channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn minimum)
  • Strong analytical chops — you live in dashboards, you know your CAC from your ROAS, and you can build attribution models
  • Experience managing and holding paid media agencies accountable to performance goals
  • Hands-on with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) for campaign execution and lead scoring
  • Comfortable building landing pages yourself when needed (Webflow, Unbounce, or code)
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as this role involves frequent collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers where English is the primary working language.
🎯 Bonus Points
  • Experience at a PLG company where you had to balance self-serve conversion with sales-assisted pipeline
  • You've built demand gen for both B2C (consumer/prosumer) and B2B (teams/enterprise) motions simultaneously
  • Experience in developer tools, AI/ML products, or the no-code/low-code space
  • You've fixed broken attribution before — you inherited a mess and made it work
  • Experience running webinar programs that actually drive pipeline (not just vanity attendance)
  • You've managed $1M+ annual ad budgets
  • You've worked closely with product and growth teams on in-product conversion optimization
  • You actually use Bolt.new or similar AI builders
📌 A Few Notes
  • You do not need a college degree to apply

  • You do not need to be located in the U.S. — we’re remote-friendly

  • You do not need to meet every qualification listed above

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
