About the Role

Fluidstack is looking for a Head of Corporate IT to build and lead our internal IT function. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling the internal systems, tools, and devices that power our global team, including identity and access management and compliance.

This role owns corporate technology infrastructure and employee-facing IT operations, ensuring high availability, optimized cost, and an excellent user experience. You will serve as the central point of accountability for all internal tooling from day-to-day IT support to strategic technology decisions and compliance readiness.

As our first dedicated IT leader, you'll build the foundation for a modern, scalable, secure internal environment that supports rapid growth.

Focus
  • Own the corporate IT stack: select, procure, deploy, manage, and retire tools and systems as needed.

  • Lead identity and access management across internal systems.

  • Design and enforce policies around device security, data protection, and acceptable use.

  • Implement ticketing systems and internal support workflows, delivering high-quality service to employees.

  • Oversee endpoint management, including provisioning and offboarding.

  • Manage SaaS tools and vendor relationships (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Notion, Salesforce).

  • Conduct internal risk assessments and partner with InfoSec and Legal on compliance initiatives.

  • Track IT system health, user experience, and cost efficiency—proactively drive improvements.

  • Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other audit processes through proper documentation and controls.

  • Build a roadmap and budget to scale internal IT as Fluidstack grows.

About You
  • 7–10+ years of experience in corporate IT, enterprise systems, or internal technology leadership.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems, user provisioning, and cross-platform device management.

  • Hands-on experience with modern endpoint and identity management platforms.

  • Ability to design repeatable, scalable workflows for onboarding, access, and support.

  • Proficient in security and compliance concepts related to internal systems.

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

  • Experience supporting SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance is a plus.

Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).

  • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.

  • Fluidstack is remote first but has offices in key hubs. For all other locations, we provide access to WeWork.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
