You will lead a high performing team as we build the leading all-in-one suite of tools to enable ambitious creators to become successful entrepreneurs. You will report into the Chief Product Officer, and will work closely with executive leadership across the company to ensure we’re able to most effectively build, launch and scale adoption of our products.

The impact you will make

  • Deeply understand the creator commerce market, stay ahead of emerging trends, and adapt our roadmap and strategy accordingly
  • Explore build/partner discussions with relevant partners to further expand our product capabilities
  • Strike an appropriate balance between improving our core capabilities and building innovative new products to maintain our market-leading position in our space
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business — from marketing, to CX and our executive team — to drive cross-functional transparency and momentum behind our roadmap and product launches

Attributes for success

  • Passion for the market: You are deeply interested in the creator commerce space and stay ahead of trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. Ideally you’ve worked in similar spaces, whether it be the creator economy or marketing technologies, and can bring your experience and expertise to bear in this role. You inspire the team with a vision rooted in market insight and a commitment to industry leadership.
  • Bias for action: You are decisive and have a strong preference for taking initiative, especially in situations of uncertainty. You value speed and learning through iteration, balancing urgency with thoughtful risk management to avoid analysis paralysis.
  • Growth mindset: You constantly explore new ideas, technologies, and approaches to problem-solving. You embrace experimentation and learning, never settling for the status quo. You ask thoughtful questions and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborative: Builds strong, trusting relationships across product, engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams. Facilitates open communication, values diverse perspectives, and drives alignment towards shared goals. Models humility and empathy, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with 5+ years in product leadership roles
  • Proven track record of building and leading product teams that have delivered exceptional digital products at scale for audiences of significant size

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
