Head of Capital Formation & Ventures - SaaS/IoT/AI, Finance & Liquidity

Keycafe is seeking a Head of Capital Formation & Ventures to own our capital strategy, drive financing initiatives, and engineer shareholder liquidity and value across our global SaaS/IoT platform and new venture opportunities.
This is a front-line, deal-oriented leadership role — you’ll work directly with the CEO to ensure Keycafe always has the right capital structure, strategic relationships, and liquidity pathways to support rapid global expansion. You’ll also help shape Keycafe Labs, our innovation arm, by structuring and capitalizing new opportunities.
What You'll Do- Lead all capital formation activities — equity, debt, and hybrid financings — from investor targeting to deal close.
- Build and maintain a deep investor network spanning venture, growth equity, family offices, and strategic partners.
- Engineer shareholder liquidity through secondary transactions, recapitalizations, or structured liquidity programs.
- Develop and execute financing strategies aligned with growth, risk management, and corporate flexibility goals.
- Oversee financial positioning and investor communications, ensuring Keycafe’s story is clear, data-backed, and compelling.
- Partner with the CEO and Keycafe Labs to identify and fund select spinout opportunities from Keycafe's internal AI efforts.
- High-leverage role: You’ll directly impact capital access, shareholder returns, and company growth trajectory.
- Strategic partnership: Work side-by-side with the CEO and leadership team to define Keycafe’s financial future.
- Global reach: Engage with investors and strategic partners across North America, Europe, and Asia.

RequirementsWho You Are
- 7+ years in investment banking, venture capital, growth equity, or corporate finance.
- Proven record raising capital or structuring liquidity transactions for growth-stage companies.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and corporate valuation frameworks.
- Skilled at negotiating with institutional and strategic investors.
- Entrepreneurial, analytical, and relentless in pursuit of capital efficiency and shareholder value.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a lean, founder-led environment.
- Experience in IoT, SaaS, or other hardware-enabled tech sectors.
- Exposure to secondary markets, recapitalizations, or special situations investing.
- Prior involvement in corporate venture or spinout structuring.
