At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.

As Head of Analyst Relations, you’ll be a key driver of our integrated communications and corporate marketing programs, increasing awareness of Vanta across analyst influencers and industry validators.

Reporting to our VP of Communications and Content, this role is a key member of our marketing team focused on amplifying Vanta’s beloved brand and our pioneering product vision while illustrating the value we deliver for global customers as we accelerate our enterprise momentum.

This role will join Vanta’s growing global marketing team and will focus on driving a regular, bidirectional conversation with industry analysts as we accelerate our leadership in the Trust Management category. Acting as a key leader on our marketing team, the Head of Analyst Relations will serve as a trusted, cross-functional partner to teams across go-to-market, engineering, product and design to articulate our customer journey and category differentiators while implementing analyst feedback and insights.

What you’ll do as a Head of Analyst Relations at Vanta:

  • Drive the execution of our analyst relations strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders across product, product marketing, and leadership teams

  • Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy that focuses on trust management category creation across core analysts/industry influencers covering security and adjacent coverage areas

  • Lead the creation process of content, presentation, and demos for key analyst reports to illustrate Vanta’s industry leadership and capabilities for all customers, from SMB to enterprises

  • Partner with regional marketing and events teams to determine sponsorship and participation at key analyst events and summits

  • Grow and diversify our thought leadership across trust management, compliance and security via monthly analyst briefings, inquiries, analyst days, and other interactions

  • Enable sales and marketing teams to leverage analyst insights and recommendations for business growth and help guide product marketing with positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation

  • Partner cross-functionally to establish and maintain leadership on review sites including G2, Gartner Peer Insights, and more

How to be successful in this role:

  • 10 - 12 years of experience in analyst relations either in-house, agency, or a combination of both

  • You have deep analyst relationships, strong writing skills, a finger on the pulse of B2B/SaaS trends

  • Strong understanding of industry issues relating to products, product categories, technologies, primary and competition, and general issues facing the industry

  • Work experience in B2B or enterprise software is required

  • You’re a hands-on, strategic analyst relations pro with a passion for crafting compelling product narratives, developing close relationships with key industry influencers, and working across teams to drive results

  • You have built established relationships with top-tier analysts and have experience with regional analyst relations programs

What you can expect as a Vantan:

  • Industry-competitive compensation

  • 100% covered medical, dental, and vision benefits with dependents coverage

  • 16 weeks fully-paid parental Leave for all new parents

  • Health & wellness and remote workplace stipends

  • Family planning benefits through Carrot Fertility

  • 401(k) matching

  • Flexible work hours and location

  • Open PTO policy

  • 11 paid holidays in the US

  • Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, and Sydney

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors and may vary based on candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials.

At Vanta, we are committed to hiring diverse talent of different backgrounds and as such, it is important to us to provide an inclusive work environment for all. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, veteran or disability status, or any other protected class. As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage and welcome people of all backgrounds to apply.

About Vanta

We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches. Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation. Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security. From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.

Now more than ever, making security continuous—not just a point-in-time check— is essential. Thousands of companies rely on Vanta to build, maintain and demonstrate their trust— all in a way that's real-time and transparent.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
