Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

Why This Role Exists

Socure is rebuilding its Market Development function from the ground up as an AI-native operation. We're not looking for a traditional SDR manager. We're looking for a systems builder — someone who architects the operating model, deploys the AI stack, and develops a team of 4–6 reps that punches far above its headcount across Socure's 11 vertical GTM pods.

Responsibilities

Outbound System Architecture

  • Build and own the AI-augmented outbound motion — ICP targeting, signal detection, sequence execution, and meeting handoff

  • Deploy and optimize the full stack: Claude, Apollo AI, Clay, 6sense, Champify, and Qualified

  • Build signal-based plays triggered by buying intent, job changes, funding events, and technographic shifts

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop 4–6 AI-native SDRs; transition the team from manual outreach to AI-native operators

  • Set daily activity baselines, weekly meeting targets, and monthly pipeline goals by rep

  • Build onboarding systems that get new reps to full productivity in under 30 days

Inbound Conversion

  • Own the inbound demo request process end-to-end

  • Drive conversion from the current 7% to 50%+ within 30 days, with a path to 90%

  • Implement sub-5-minute response SLA; partner with Marketing Operations on routing and workflow optimization

Reporting & Pipeline Intelligence

  • Own the weekly MDR pipeline report to marketing and sales leadership

  • Build and maintain a live, automated Salesforce dashboard — no manual assembly

  • Surface warm unconverted contacts and win-back opportunities for pod GMs weekly

Event Motion

  • Own pre- and post-event outreach for all field marketing events

  • Build reusable sequence templates by event type; coordinate with Field Marketing on targeting and timing

What You Bring

  • 6+ years in Sales Development or outbound pipeline generation; 1–2+ years leading a team

  • Hands-on experience building with Clay, Apollo AI, 6sense, or comparable orchestration platforms — not just using the tools, but architecting the system underneath them

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Marketo, and lead routing tools (Ringlead, LeanData)

  • Track record of building or transforming an MDR function, not just managing one

  • Reports on pipeline and conversion — not activity counts

30-Day Targets

  • 24+ outbound meetings per month · Inbound conversion to 50%+ · $5M+ new pipeline

  • Apollo AI, Clay, and 6sense plays live · Automated Salesforce dashboard live

Stack: Salesforce · Marketo · Apollo · 6sense · Ignitium · Ringlead · Qualified · ZoomInfo · Champify · Sendoso · Liminal · Clay · Claude

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
