The Governance Program Compliance and Operations Specialist will support the Governance Initiatives & Enhancement Manager for Contract Leads and manage compliance audits, deviations, and resolutions for these leads. Additionally, the Specialist will handle the daily operations and case management support of the Contract Leads Rules Engine system, ensuring effective and efficient pricing rules to support business processes and decision-making. The role involves reviewing contract lead rules, resolving exceptions, providing stakeholder support, troubleshooting user interface issues, liaising with IT, managing cases and reporting. Regular interaction and collaboration with a wide array of stakeholders and the Sales teams on contract lead matters are essential components of this position. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Contract Lead Rules Engine Daily Monitoring and Contract Lead Pricing Rule Review

  • Conduct daily monitoring of the contract lead rules via the Contract Lead Rules Engine User Interface 

  • Review rule requests and determine appropriate actions, including approval, rejection, and resolution.  

  • Analyze exception cases to identify underlying issues and work towards resolving them.  

  • Maintain detailed records of exception reviews and resolutions.  

Stakeholder Support & Collaboration

  • Provide ongoing support to stakeholders by addressing inquiries and issues related to the contract lead rules and rules engine submissions.  

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the rules engine meets business requirements.  

Case Management

  • Manage and track Salesforce.com cases related to rules engine issues and exceptions.  

  • Ensure timely resolution of Salesforce.com cases and maintain accurate case records.  

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of Salesforce.com cases and resolutions. 

Support and grow established Operational Structure 

  • Guide Salesforce.com enhancements with technical teams. 

  • Enhance and maintain Governance SharePoint & documentation repository organization. 

  • Documentation expansion through technical writing, process flows and other resource materials. 

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills 

  • Proven experience with case management.  

  • Experience with automated workflow systems. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT developers and business stakeholders (account management, contract administration).  

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  

  • Familiarity with business process management 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 

Systems Experience Preferred 

  • SAP 

  • Salesforce.com

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$73,300 - $122,100
