Lead a team in implementing and maintaining Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions, ensuring best practices in software development and delivering high-quality projects.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guidewire ClaimCenter Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation, configuration, and support, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver successful projects.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage a team of developers in the implementation and maintenance of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions for upgrades and customization projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for ClaimCenter, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Guidewire products and industry trends.
- Analyze claim configuration / Integration specifications and associated requirements.
- Create design specifications by coordinating with stakeholders for the configuration requirements
- Create design specifications by coordinating with third party application (or) vendor team on required integrations.
- Collaborate closely with data team and QA team to ensure good quality product delivery
- Responsible for continuous formal and informal communication on project status
- Perform peer reviews on technical deliverables from the project to ensure good quality product
- Develop and unit test integrations created on Guidewire application suite.
- Collaborate closely with implementation partner to ensure good quality product delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Overall 7 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience on Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration / Integration development. Preferable experience on Guidewire version 10.0 and above.
- Proficiency in Java, GOSU scripting, XML, SQL, SOAP/REST APIs and Guidewire Studio.
- Must have good experience in Insurance domain, preferably in personal lines
- Should have experience on handling enhancements and defects as part of Guidewire maintenance team.
- Must have strong Agile/Scrum Project Experience.
- Experience with GUnit, Guidewire testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS / Guidewire certifications are a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GWCP is a plus.

The base salary for this role can range from $130k - $150k, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
