ERP Implementation Sr Consultant/GTMS Senior Consultant

Vistex is expecting hypergrowth with the GTMS solution and is seeking to hire a GTMS-Consultant to join our team! This exciting, yet challenging opportunity, allows this individual to lead and be actively involved in high touch, high visibility engagements with customers  during the GTMS implementations.  

As a GTMS Senior Consultant, you will be a focal point of contact for the customers on that project and will be responsible for driving the entire project right from requirement gathering sessions, designing the solution, configuring the system, doing system walkthroughs, testing and working cross-functionally with other teams such as product development, training, support and system administration. You will be the force behind the project and have a comprehensive view of all the deliverables and deliver within project timelines using the prescribed implementation methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of support consultants and provide them guidance and direction on how to address production issues, software bugs and meet the SLA’s for various customers/engagements.
• Organize and conduct meetings with the customers for high priority and critical issues and provide directive to the consulting team to redress these issues.
• Address application system issues for multiple clients after they are live in their production environment.
• Work on system enhancements as requested by the client by understanding the requirement, configuring the system and coordinating any custom development that is required.
• Play an active role on client system upgrade.
• Carry out walkthroughs and end user demonstrations or Knowledge transfer sessions.
• Documentation of new features, issues and resolutions.
• Monitor issues in the helpdesk ticket queue.
• Perform requirement gathering, design and configure the system.
• Provide functional spec to developer and test custom code written by developer.
• Carry out all functional upgrade activities.
• Execute regression testing to ensure smooth transition between software releases.
• Lead sessions with system users to show them new functionality that is implemented or walkthrough of issue resolution.
• Proactive communication and documentation of issue resolution progress.
• Create a library of common issues and resolution best practices.

The compensation for this position is  $110k - $130k.  Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus.  Vistex provides highly competitive benefits including comprehensive healthcare plan, 401(k) and paid time off, including paid volunteerism days!

Qualifications Education Preferred Bachelors or better. Experience Required Experience in a similar role. Experience in SAP, ORALCLE, PeopleSoft, or Microsoft Dynamics implementation. Experience in implementation projects E2E. Experience in business process. Hands-on experience in implementing packaged software for one or more business processes under your belt. Adept at running workshops with customers to extract requirements, analyze them comprehensively and formulate the design of the to-be solution. Actively involved in full lifecycle software implementations of the software from requirement to hyper care. Is passionate about learning new software with continuously updated features and functionalities and must be willing to roll up your sleeves and do configuration of the software. Thrive on independent thinking with keen problem solving and analytical skills. Must have excellent communication and client handling skills to be able to excel in high pressure situations. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team player attitude and flexibility with working with different time zones. Preferred Worked in a consulting team in a professional services environment. SAP experience, SD, MM, PP, FICO modules experience is a plus.
