At candidate.fyi, we’re reimagining how organizations streamline interview scheduling and improve the candidate experience. Our platform empowers top brands like Intercom, GoPro, Discord, and Yelp to modernize their global interviewing operations.

Backed by Storytime Capital and SuperAngel, candidate.fyi is in hyper-growth mode — we 4x’d revenue last year, and we’re just getting started. We’re building tools that not only solve today’s challenges but also shape the future of hiring with cutting-edge AI capabilities.

The Role

This hire will be focused on growth automation and AI-powered GTM, you’ll play a hands-on, foundational role in driving how we scale. You’ll blend technical know-how with growth strategy, diving into tools like Make, Claude, Zapier, Hubspot, Apollo, and the latest AI tools to create and optimize systems that drive pipeline, accelerate onboarding, and increase conversion.

You’ll work directly with the founding team to experiment, build, and refine our go-to-market engine — and make us faster and smarter in the process.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and launch personalized outbound campaigns that feel handcrafted at scale, targeting TA leaders at enterprise companies

  • Own our Content Engine: setting up webinars, blog articles, feature release videos, consistent content for our community (you should be hands-on and comfortable creating these with the help of tooling)

  • Implement and connect AI tools (think: Clay, Zapier, Hubspot, Apollo, ChatGPT, etc.) to create scalable systems for prospecting, nurturing, onboarding, and more

  • Own and optimize our GTM stack, including Hubspot, (CRM), Canva, Figma, Webflow, Apollo, Make, Claude, Zapier, and other sales/marketing tools

  • Set up A/B tests, track performance, and iterate quickly based on real-time learnings

  • Monitor key GTM metrics and uncover insights that lead to smarter decisions and faster growth

  • Evaluate new AI tools and automation platforms, and bring the best into our workflow

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to test hypotheses and accelerate growth

What You Bring
  • 2+ years in Sales Ops, Growth, Marketing, RevOps, Sales Engineering, or Chief of Staff to GTM roles

  • A builder mindset — you like connecting tools, solving problems, and making things run smoother

  • Experience in startup or SMB tech environments where scrappiness, ambiguity, and speed matter

  • Deep curiosity and excitement for emerging AI tools and how they can transform GTM

  • Hands-on experience with outbound campaigns and funnel optimization

  • Strong understanding of CRMs, lead scoring, marketing automation, and pipeline management

  • Experience with SEO, LLM SEO

  • Bonus points for experience with Hubspot, Make, Claude, Zapier, or similar tools

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
