Build systems that drive Cruva's go-to-market: outbound infrastructure, SEO/content engines, HubSpot pipeline and automations, GTM dashboards, AI-powered workflows, and tool evaluation/integration to scale growth.

The Role

Cruva is the operating system for TikTok Shop. Over 1,400 brands use our platform to manage affiliate programs, find creators, and run their commerce operations. We are bootstrapped, profitable, multi-seven-figures in ARR, and growing fast.

The through-line of this role is not a tool or a channel. It is a mindset. You see the business as a system, you identify where it is leaking, and you build the fix. Some days that means designing an outbound enrichment workflow in Clay. Others it means rebuilding a dashboard so leadership can actually see what is happening, or wiring together an SEO content engine that compounds over time.

You are also the person on the team who already knows about the tool everyone else will discover in six months. You have opinions on what is worth adopting and what is hype. You use AI not just as an assistant but as infrastructure, and you build systems that make the whole team faster as a result.

What You'll Do
  • Outbound infrastructure. Design and build the systems that power Cruva's outbound motion: ICP definition, lead sourcing, enrichment, segmentation, and sequencing across Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, and whatever emerges as the right tool for the job.

  • SEO and content systems. Build the infrastructure that drives organic growth: keyword strategy, programmatic content, internal linking, and the tooling to track what is compounding and what is not.

  • Internal dashboards and reporting. Instrument the full GTM funnel and build the dashboards that give sales, CS, and leadership a clear, real-time view of what is working and where we are losing.

  • HubSpot ownership. Pipeline structure, lifecycle stages, automations, and data hygiene. Make it a system the team trusts and actually uses.

  • AI-powered leverage. Identify where AI tools can replace manual work, accelerate output, or unlock something that was not possible before. Build those systems and raise the ceiling for what the GTM team can do.

  • Tool evaluation and adoption. Own the process of evaluating, piloting, and integrating tools that give Cruva a compounding advantage.

What You'll Bring
  • 2 to 5 years in a GTM engineering, growth engineering, RevOps, or technical marketing role.

  • Hands-on experience with Clay, HubSpot or Salesforce, and outbound tooling like Apollo or Instantly. You build with these tools, not just use them.

  • A track record of building SEO or content systems that drove measurable organic growth.

  • Strong data skills. You can pull, clean, and interpret data well enough to diagnose a problem and build a solution without a dedicated data team.

  • You are genuinely obsessed with new technology. You are usually the first person in the room to have used a new tool and you have strong opinions on what is worth adopting and what is noise.

  • You use AI as leverage, not a shortcut. You build systems with it, not just prompts.

  • Familiarity with ecommerce, DTC brands, or TikTok Shop is a strong plus.

Compensation

$120,000 to $150,000 base salary depending on experience, plus meaningful early-stage equity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
