About the roleWe’re hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own experimentation and optimization across the customer lifecycle, in close partnership with our Growth Product Manager and Demand Generation Director. As a key leader in our marketing team, you will be focused on helping accelerate our PLG motion by improving activation, conversion, retention, and expansion.
What you’ll doOwn lifecycle growth experimentsDesign and run experiments across onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion
Identify friction points in the user journey and propose tests to address them
Partner with Growth PM to align experiments with product roadmap
Optimize trial, freemium, or PQL flows in collaboration with Product and Sales
Build and iterate on lifecycle programs (email, in-app coordination, sales assist)
Improve conversion through messaging, timing, and segmentation — not net-new acquisition
Own programs that reduce churn and increase expansion revenue
Test upsell, cross-sell, and reactivation motions
Translate product usage signals into targeted growth campaigns
Define success metrics for lifecycle initiatives
Analyze experiment results and share learnings with stakeholders
Help leadership understand which growth levers actually work
Partner with Demand Gen to ensure smooth handoff from acquisition to lifecycle
Partner with Sales on PQLs, conversion plays, and feedback loops
Work with RevOps and Data on attribution and measurement
4–8 years in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or product management
Experience working alongside Product Managers and data teams
Strong experimentation and analytical skills
Proven ability to move conversion, retention, or expansion metrics
Comfort operating in ambiguity at a scaling startup
Experience in PLG or hybrid GTM models
Familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, or similar tools
Experience working with Sales-assisted growth motions
Prior experience at a Series A–C company
Lifecycle: HubSpot, Braze, Customer.io, Iterable
Analytics: Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA
Experimentation: Optimizely, internal A/B frameworks
CRM: Salesforce
Data: Looker, Mode, SQL (nice-to-have)
This role ensures growth doesn’t live only in paid acquisition or the product roadmap. You’ll help the company grow more efficiently, turn usage into revenue, and build the foundation for scale.
