About Inspira Education

Inspira Education Group is one of the fastest-growing edtech startups in the US. We started with a simple mission to democratize access to high-quality coaching so that every student in the world has an equal opportunity to access the best opportunities.

As the world’s leading network of top admissions coaches in medical, legal, business, and college studies, we’re building software and services in one place—disrupting long-entrenched application processes with products and experiences that strive to provide an equal platform for candidates from diverse backgrounds worldwide.

As one of the fastest-growing edtech firms in the world, we are backed by some of the leading venture capital firms and investors in the world, including Zeev Ventures, Quiet Capital, Craft Ventures, Jeff Fluhr (Founder of Stubhub), and David Sacks (Former COO of PayPal and Founder of Yammer).

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, analytical Growth Marketing Manager to build our lifecycle marketing function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to take a blank canvas and create a best-in-class CRM and engagement program that drives consultations and revenue across our portfolio of brands.

You'll own the full strategy and execution—from defining our segmentation framework and building automated journeys to launching experiments and optimizing performance. Working closely with our CRM Manager, you'll establish the processes, systems, and campaigns that turn our contact database into a consistent pipeline of qualified consultations.

You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Performance Marketing, Online Events, Customer Success, SEO, and Social Media teams to design programs that work seamlessly across the customer journey.

Your north star metric? Consultations generated from our contact database.

This role is perfect for someone from a top-tier consulting background (MBB, Big 4 strategy, or similar) who wants to transition into high-impact marketing and build something meaningful. You're strategic and structured in your thinking, but equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute. You love solving complex problems, you move fast, and you're excited to learn a new domain.

This is an in-person role requiring 5 days/week in our NYC office (Gramercy).

What You'll Do

  • Build the lifecycle marketing program from scratch: Design the end-to-end strategy, define segmentation and targeting frameworks, map customer journeys, and establish KPIs and reporting infrastructure
  • Own campaign execution: Create and launch email and SMS campaigns, including automated drip sequences, triggered messages, newsletters, and conversion-focused flows
  • Drive experimentation and optimization: Develop a testing roadmap to continuously improve engagement, conversion rates, and lifetime value through A/B tests and performance analysis
  • Analyze user behavior and identify opportunities: Conduct cohort and segment analysis to understand drop-off points, engagement patterns, and high-value customer segments; translate findings into actionable campaigns
  • Collaborate across teams: Work with Sales, Product, Performance Marketing, and Customer Success to align messaging, share insights, and coordinate multi-channel programs
  • Implement martech infrastructure: Evaluate, implement, and optimize tools within our HubSpot ecosystem to enable personalization, automation, and scalable execution while evaluating new tools such as Braze and Klaviyo
  • Ensure deliverability and compliance: Maintain sender reputation and follow best practices for email and SMS marketing
  • Track and report performance: Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness, lead volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI; provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Proactively identify emerging AI and marketing technologies that can enhance efficiency, personalization, and results

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years at a top-tier consulting firm (MBB, Big 4 Strategy, or equivalent) with experience in go-to-market strategy, customer analytics, growth initiatives, or marketing transformation projects
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills: You naturally break down complex problems, structure analyses, and extract insights from data. SQL knowledge or willingness to learn quickly is a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking with execution chops: You can develop frameworks and roadmaps, but you're equally comfortable building spreadsheets, writing copy, and launching campaigns yourself
  • Structured and process-oriented: You bring discipline to ambiguous situations and build scalable systems from the ground up
  • Strong written and verbal communication: You can craft compelling messaging and present insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Hungry to learn: You have little to no marketing experience, but you're intellectually curious, you learn fast, and you're excited to become an expert in lifecycle marketing and CRM
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoy the autonomy to build and own outcomes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You don't need perfect information to make decisions and move forward
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable learning new tools quickly; experience with HubSpot, marketing automation platforms, or CDPs is a plus but not required

What We Look For

  • A passion for cultivating authentic connections
  • Individuals who embody a winning attitude
  • A mindset fueled by curiosity
  • Determination to hustle and overcome challenges
  • An infectious enthusiasm and adaptability
  • Boundless energy and relentless tenacity

Why you'll love Inspira

  • Amazing people with a great vision and values
  • Ability to work directly with co-founders and drive impact super quickly
  • Your work directly impacts the lives and careers of students across the globe
  • 100% coverage of health, vision, and dental benefits
  • Flexible Paid-time Off
  • Learning and Development Budget
  • Retirement Savings Plans - 401k with matching
  • Diversity and inclusion programs that promote employee resource groups like OWN (Outreach Women's Network), AAPI, Rainbow (LGBTQIA+), Gender+, LatinX, Black Excellence, Disability Community, and Veterans
  • Note: certain benefits are not provided to 1099 contract worker

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
