About the roleWe’re looking for a growth-minded marketer with deep expertise in web strategy, CRO, and SEO to help shape how new users find and engage with Hex. This person should be a taste-maker in the world of web with a natural curiosity for the new and novel as well as an eye for what great looks like. This role will essentially product manage our website and lead our efforts to grow organic traffic, improve conversion experiences, and tell the Hex story across our web surfaces.
You’ll own the strategy and execution for web experimentation, SEO, and AEO end-to-end — from keyword strategy and content architecture to measurement and iteration. You’ll work closely with our cross-functional partners to design and test new experiences that drive measurable impact on awareness, acquisition, and activation.
What you'll do- Partner with Product, Design, Product Marketing and Engineering to craft a vision for the website and improve the web journey, from first visit through sign-up and activation.
- Lead technical SEO and AEO strategy and execution — including keyword research, site audits, schema, internal linking, and content roadmap development to drive measurable results to self-serve and sales-assist motions.
- Use data and experimentation to uncover insights that inform our content and acquisition strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on website, SEO and AEO trends, AI workflows, and emerging tools that can help us scale thoughtfully.
- 5+ years in growth or marketing roles, with hands-on experience leading website, SEO and CRO initiatives.
- Proficiency with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., GA4, Search Console).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable building funnel models, running experiments, and turning data into action.
- Curious, creative, and excited to test, learn, and iterate in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners across product, engineering, design, and data.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or analytics products.
- Familiarity with AI workflows and programmatic content approaches.
- Comfort managing CMS operations and ensuring high-quality, SEO-friendly content experiences.
This role will be hybrid (2-3 days per week in office) based out of San Francisco or NYC.

The OTE (base + variable pay) range for this role is: $140,000 - $170,000.
The salary range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we’re open to. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process, taking into account factors like leaving room for growth, internal fairness & parity, your demonstrated skills, and the depth of your experience.
