Glo is on a mission to improve the world’s well-being. To accomplish that mission, we are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager, Search to lead our paid search strategy, driving user acquisition across Web and iOS platforms. This role will focus on optimizing and scaling search campaigns, leveraging a combination of experimentation, creative thinking and deep data analysis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize SEM strategies across Google Search, Apple Search Ads, and Bing, with a focus on both Web and iOS growth.
  • Develop and scale high-performing Web search campaigns, leveraging advanced keyword optimization, bid management, and audience segmentation to drive conversions and increase return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Scale Apple Search Ads performance, integrating App Store Optimization (ASO) best practices to enhance visibility, boost app installs, and maximize conversion rates on iOS.

  • Innovate and experiment with creative, non-traditional approaches to paid search marketing, pushing the boundaries to discover new opportunities for user acquisition and growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, search engine updates, and emerging best practices, ensuring our campaigns remain competitive and effective.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in SEM, with a proven ability to optimize and scale performance-driven search campaigns for both Web and iOS platforms.
  • Experience in a digital subscription or wellness-focused company and a passion for yoga/wellness is preferred.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Bing, keyword research, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling high-budget campaigns while maintaining efficiency and driving down customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization platforms (e.g., AWS Insights, Adjust, Looker, Tableau).
  • Proven understanding of attribution models and their impact on performance marketing: Familiarity with last-click attribution to ensure accurate campaign performance analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and a data-driven approach to campaign enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset with a passion for continuous experimentation, innovation, and optimization.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to pivot quickly based on market trends and performance.

Cultural Values Qualifications:

  • Start with the why
  • Drive change
  • Practice resilience
  • Embrace progress over perfection
  • Communicate openly
  • Win together

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
