We’re Jubilee Media.

At Jubilee, we're on a mission to provoke understanding and create human connection. We explore experiences that push people to feel more, think more, and see more in others. We challenge the belief of a black-and-white world, and instead embrace the complexity and richness of our experiences. By magnifying these stories we can discover personal identities, shared truths, and how we fit in the overarching human story. People are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for the next passionate teammate to join us on this journey. Together, we have the power to shift perspectives—and maybe even change the world.

About This Role
We’re not hiring a traditional marketer. We’re looking for someone who understands how the internet actually works. As Nectar’s Growth Engineer, you care deeply about one thing: leveraging platform algorithms to drive viral, measurable growth.

Your primary focus will be building and operating a UGC-first growth engine from scratch, turning creators, trends, and cultural moments into installs and activations. You’ll think deeply about hooks, retention curves, creator coaching, scroll-stopping first seconds, comment dynamics, and what genuinely motivates someone to download an app.

UGC is the core lever. You will also oversee the broader acquisition ecosystem (organic, creators, paid, and ASO), ensuring these channels work together to scale what’s performing. This is a zero-to-one opportunity. You’ll help build the engine and shape how it runs.

What You’ll Own:
  • The entire acquisition funnel (discovery → install → activation)
  • A high-velocity UGC testing engine
  • Paid amplification strategy and creative feedback loops
  • App Store Optimization (ASO) performance and testing
  • Creator sourcing, coaching, and performance systems
  • Channel experimentation and budget allocation decisions
  • Turning organic signals into scalable growth across channels

What You’ll Do:

Build the UGC Machine

  • Develop and grow a network of UGC creators.
  • Launch and test multiple new creatives each week.
  • Write and refine hooks and scripts based on performance data.
  • Analyze retention curves and adjust creative accordingly.
  • Identify breakout content early and scale it thoughtfully.
  • Translate trends into Nectar-native concepts before they peak.
  • Build frameworks that improve creative performance over time.

Coach Creators to Win

  • Recruit and work directly with emerging creators.
  • Give data-backed feedback on performance.
  • Help creators understand how to drive installs, not just views.
  • Build repeatable systems so creators can plug in and execute fast.
  • Develop long-term growth partners, not one-off posts.

Oversee and Optimize All Acquisition Channels

  • Decide when organic wins should be scaled via paid.
  • Partner on paid strategy, creative iteration, and budget efficiency.
  • Own ASO testing: screenshots, previews, metadata, positioning.
  • Experiment with influencers, partnerships, and new distribution channels.
  • Understand CAC by channel and reallocate based on performance.
  • Build a clear view of what drives installs and what doesn’t.

Run Experiments Relentlessly

  • Test angles, messaging, positioning, and offers.
  • Make informed decisions about what to scale and what to sunset.
  • Translate performance data into actionable creative insights.
  • Collaborate with Product on activation and onboarding optimization.
  • Support ASO and paid amplification once creatives prove themselves.

Who You Are:

  • 1-4 years in UGC, short-form content, creator marketing, performance marketing, or growth.
  • Deeply fluent in TikTok, Reels, and short-form distribution mechanics.
  • You understand why some content spreads and how to replicate it.
  • You’re comfortable owning performance metrics (installs, CAC, activation).
  • You’re curious about paid media and ASO, even if you haven’t fully owned them yet.
  • Excited by ownership and building something early.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive Compensation  –  $100,000 - $140,000 💰
  • Flexible PTO – Take the time you need to rest and recharge! 🌴
  • Generous Holidays –  Plus a sweet week-long reset at the end of the year ❄️
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans – Choose the one that works best for your lifestyle! 🩺
  • Team Retreats, Bonding Activities, and a People-Centered Culture 🌄
  • Catered Lunches & Stocked Kitchen 🍪
  • Annual Learning Stipend 📚
  • Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan 🏦
  • Stock Options 📈

Work Model
At Jubilee, we follow a hybrid work model — We’re in the El Segundo office 3 days a week and remote for 2. So, you’ll need to be local or ready to make the move!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
