Why Hyperbound

At Hyperbound (YC S23), we’re building the Revenue Activation Platform, a new category of sales-tech that helps enterprise sales teams practice, measure, and scale top-performer behaviors.

The category is exploding, and as the inventors of AI sales role play, we’re pouring gas on the fire to get the best product on the market to enterprise sales teams. Over the last year, our marketing team built a massive amount of pipeline that helped our sales reps close multiple $1M in ARR months.

This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to build the marketing function at a high growth company and accelerate their career in the process.

What You'll Do

  • Own Hyperbound's webinar and podcast programs start to finish, including building and managing the annual webinar calendar.

  • Build and grow the audiences that fill those programs. You'll develop segmentation strategies, test what messaging resonates with buyers, and continuously grow our reach across email and paid channels.

  • Run promotion end-to-end: A/B test subject lines, ad creative, and CTAs to figure out what drives registrations and, more importantly, pipeline. You'll own the pre and before/after motion, promotional sequences, landing pages, and post-event nurture, not just the event itself.

  • Once the event wraps, you're not done. You'll work with product marketing to repurpose webinar and podcast content into assets that keep generating value: clips, recaps, follow-up sequences, and more.

  • Work closely with sales to make sure every program is tied to opportunity creation. Registrations are a vanity metric here. Pipeline is the one that counts.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in a marketing role with hands-on campaign execution.

  • You've run or supported webinar programs and understand what makes them convert to revenue.

  • Experience A/B testing emails or paid ads and using the results to make decisions.

  • Comfortable in HubSpot, Riverside, Webflow, and Figma. You can pull performance data, edit a recording, and mock up a landing page without waiting on someone else.

  • Extreme attention to detail. Able to manage a full-year content calendar without losing the details, and adaptable enough to reprioritize when things change.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
