This role focuses on attracting, sourcing, and hiring top-tier talent to meet business objectives while enhancing the candidate experience and employer brand. The manager oversees the full salaried recruitment lifecycle, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with organizational growth and culture. Utilizing a data-driven approach, the Talent Acquisition Manager refines hiring processes, develops innovative sourcing techniques, and builds a robust candidate pipeline. Additionally, this role designs and implements structured, competency-based interview frameworks to ensure fair and objective evaluations. Expertise in recruitment best practices, team leadership, and strategic workforce planning is essential for the company's long-term success.
What You'll Do:
- Talent Strategy: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent for salaried positions, including strategic talent initiatives that develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs such as an intern program, employer branding campaigns and a rotational program. Assist in learning and development programs that further talent initiatives.
- Requisition Management: Responsible for end-to-end recruitment cycle for senior and executive level roles based on business needs, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience and successful placement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate strategically with Human Resources and business leaders to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
- Training and Communication: Design and communicate training, standards, policies and support to local HR teams and leaders on company recruiting processes and best practices for all levels of employees.
- Recruitment Process: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pre-onboarding candidates for professional roles, and administrative support for hourly roles.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the talent acquisition team, including a Sr. recruiter and recruiting coordinator.
- Data Utilization: Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, employment laws and regulations.
- Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.
- Best Practices: Champion best practices in sourcing and interview methodologies to build a consistent and scalable process for identifying candidates who align with the organization’s values and goals, and are a fit for the role and responsibilities ensuring fair and objective candidate evaluation. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure competitive recruitment practices.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in high-volume talent acquisition, with a focus on salaried positions.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a recruitment team.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with ability to travel for business reasons (25-30%)
- Preference for residence in AL, CT or NH due to proximity to key businesses
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies. Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar industry preferred.
- Certification in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Pay Range:
