Job Description:

Our Group Product Manager, Work to Cash will play a key leadership role in shaping Elite’s financial product capabilities, supporting strategic initiatives across billing, collections, payments, and revenue recognition. This high-impact, remote position is ideal for a customer-centric and strategic product leader with deep expertise in Work to Cash processes, especially within B2B SaaS and mid-sized, PE-backed legal tech environments.

As the GPM, you will drive the vision and execution of our Work to Cash portfolio, lead a team of Product Managers, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-impact solutions across the financial lifecycle.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and own the roadmap for the Work to Cash domain, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and optimize financial processes (time capture, billing, payments, revenue recognition, etc.).
  • Leverage trends in SaaS monetization, legal billing compliance, and enterprise finance to guide product innovation.
  • Prioritize work based on business impact, customer feedback, and data-driven insights.
  • Lead the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, incorporating structured planning (OKRs, roadmaps, backlog management).
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX Design, and QA to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Use customer feedback and product analytics to drive continuous improvement and post-launch iteration.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, providing mentorship and growth opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with UX, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to align priorities and support go-to-market efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or law degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management and 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong domain expertise in Work to Cash processes, including billing, collections, AR/AP, and financial platforms, with awareness of AI’s role in transforming these workflows.
  • Experience building or scaling financial products for mid-market to enterprise clients—ideally within legal tech, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success delivering financial software that drives revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS finance workflows and ERP integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct).
  • Prior experience in PE-backed, growth-stage environments.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills—written, verbal, and presentation—across all organizational levels.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a track record of cross-functional execution in matrixed environments.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI-driven financial insights.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with customers and internal teams.
  • A bias for action, business acumen, and the ability to build alignment across teams in fast-paced, lean environments.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Compensation Package ($140,000 - $175,000 base salary + variable component)
  • Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage (Health, Dental, Vision)
  • Retirement Savings Plan with an Employer Contribution
  • Professional Development Opportunities
  • Time Off

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
