The Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Group Product Manager (GPM) to lead our SN Ops product group. This role is at the heart of our digital transformation, ensuring that as Second Nature scales, our systems remain a competitive advantage rather than a bottleneck. Your leadership will directly enable our ability to serve hundreds of thousands more residents and thousands more property managers.

You’ll directly manage three Product Managers and report to the VP of Product. This role oversees the vision, strategy, and execution for three foundational teams—Command Center, Vendor Integrations, and RBP Ops—and ensures Second Nature can scale operational excellence as we grow.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a Portfolio of Core Platforms:
Oversee the strategy and execution for three teams:

    • Command Center: Our internal platform for managing product configuration, enrollments, fulfillment, and invoicing for clients and residents.

    • Vendor Integrations: Connects our core platforms with key third-party vendors for services like filters, insurance, pest control, and internet—powering automation and accuracy at scale.

    • RBP Ops: Provides the service & API layer for the Resident Benefits Package, enabling data integrity and a consistent, reliable experience for all front-end tools.

  • Set and Drive Vision:
Define a compelling vision and clear roadmap for SN Ops, translating company strategy into actionable goals and prioritized initiatives for each team.

  • Mentor & Develop PMs:
Manage, coach, and inspire a team of three Product Managers, fostering ownership, career growth, and a culture of continuous improvement across your pods.

  • Deliver Operational Excellence:
Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Implementation, Support, and Data Management leadership to identify bottlenecks and deliver solutions that reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and increase business agility.

  • Champion the Triple Win:
Ensure every upgrade in SN Ops results in wins for internal team members, property managers, and residents—making their lives easier, reducing errors, and supporting business growth.

  • Measure and Optimize:
Define key metrics for operational efficiency and customer impact. Use data to assess outcomes, iterate strategy, and ensure the SN Ops roadmap delivers measurable value.

Key Outcomes for the First 12 Months
  • Quarter 1: Develop a comprehensive SN Ops group roadmap and metric system. Deep dive into user workflows and identify key pain points across internal teams.

  • Quarter 2: Automate critical processes in Command Center, achieving a 20% reduction in manual data entry and delivering at least two new vendor integrations to accelerate time-to-market for client offerings.

  • Quarter 3: Improve RBP data integrity by 15%, translating to fewer billing errors and a 10% reduction in support tickets for enrollment discrepancies.

  • Quarter 4: Drive a 25% uptick in operational efficiency for the post-sales team, mainly by shortening the onboarding time for new property management clients through streamlined automation, user-friendly workflows, and seamless vendor handoffs.

Your Experience
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles in SaaS or platform-based businesses.

  • A strong track record building and operating B2B products for large-scale internal processes and integrations.

  • Deep familiarity with the software development life cycle, partnering closely with engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality tools.

  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills; able to rally and influence stakeholders at every level.

  • Strategic mindset, balancing long-term vision with hands-on delivery and quick wins.

  • Experience in high-growth, dynamic environments is a major plus.

We get it. Requirements can sometimes hold people back from applying to a job, but don’t let that be the case here. If you believe you have the skills it takes to elevate this role, team, and company, we encourage you to apply for this role.

    Our Core Values

    • Purple heart. We put the team before ourselves.

    • Extreme ownership. See something? Say something; right the ship to get us back on course.

    • Be a moment maker. We aim to shatter the status quo.

    AI Innovation

We're thrilled about the transformative potential of AI innovation and its ability to drive progress at Second Nature. As we continue to explore and integrate AI into our workflows, we’re eager to learn how you’ve embraced and implemented AI in your professional journey. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
