Ground C2 Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
Leads and provides guidance to teams in the provision of technical support and
expertise for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Ground C2 systems such
as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
Defines, organizes, and assigns activities to accomplish engineering and testing
efforts.
Provides technical mentoring to individuals and teams.
Develops, integrates, and implements solutions to diverse, highly complex technical
problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
Develops, reviews, writes, or provides technical input to technical test and engineering
documents.
Develops and presents briefings as required.
Documents technical status, progress, and problems encountered during test and
engineering events.
Interacts independently and proactively with customers to identify and define complex
problems and to develop and implement strategies or techniques for resolving
technical issues.
Works with customers to evaluate and analyze technical requirements and test
objectives to develop plans to test these requirements and objectives.
Identifies, plans, allocates, and optimizes resources to complete multiple project
related tasks and goals.
Manages and maintains equipment and configurations in the test and engineering labs.
Effectively accomplishes multiple project goals within established guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Position Requirements:
Five years’ experience as a systems engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
Two years’ experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or
system administration of Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA,
CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control
procedures.
Desired Position Qualifications:
Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows
Server Operating Systems.
Experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and
switching.
CompTIA Security+ certification.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Certified Systems Engineering Professional.
