The Greenskeeper 1 is an entry level position that performs routine manual labor on the golf course, performs semi-skilled labor involved in golf course maintenance and construction work; operates small power hand tools; operates walk behind greens mowers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
To include but not limited to the following:
- String trimmer operation around, greens, aprons, tees, trees, irrigation components, etc.
- Removes debris, cleans, weeds landscape beds.
- Assists in cultural practices as in, top dressing, verticutting, aerifying, fertilizing, and chemical applications.
- Rakes bunkers and assists in the maintenance of
- Hand waters areas when needed.
- Maintains fuel and fluid levels in assigned equipment, and returns the equipment washed and fluids “topped off” back to the maintenance building.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 75 lbs.
- Ability to work for prolonged periods of time exposed to the weather and elements.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
