The Graphics Specialist develops operator interface graphics for Building Automation Systems, collaborates with teams, and ensures project specifications are met.
A key member of the Albireo team, the Graphics Specialist will be responsible for developing operator interface graphics for Building Automation Systems, to include:
- Review of project drawings, graphics specifications, and programming points lists to understand project intent.
- Breakdown scope of work into manageable segments and communicate to Project Manager / Engineering Manager for scheduling.
- Attend and/or receive meeting minutes from graphics review meetings with customers.
- Follow points lists and engineering drawings to develop and link graphical interfaces, utilizing established standards.
- Working with customers, engineers, programmers, and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve graphics issues.
- Testing and deployment of graphics projects.
- Maintain internal graphics specifications, library, and standards.
- Associate's degree, or equivalent from two-year college or technical training.
- 2-4 years of experience in UX/GUI or web design for Building Automation or other commercial/inindustrial-typepplication. Prior experience working with DGLux is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills and strong understanding of MS Office products (Word, Excel), Visio.
- Experience with graphic design/editing tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Inkscape, paint.net, AutoCAD.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
- Ability to travel to and work on construction sites for commissioning/startup. The primary work location will be the office, with 5% travel.
Pay Rate: $36-$41/hr. DOE.
