We are the team behind MLB The Show, a critically acclaimed AAA sports franchise developed for
PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms. Our focus is on delivering innovative, high-quality gaming
experiences — and we’re looking for talented developers to help us build the tools that make it all
possible. We are seeking a Graphics Tools Programmer to support our ongoing development of tools
that enhance artist workflows within our custom game engine.
Your contributions will help streamline the creative pipeline, enabling artists to work more efficiently
directly in the game environment. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates with strong C++ skills and a
passion for graphics and game development. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about building high-
impact tools, has strong problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, and is comfortable working
both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain artist-focused tools within our custom engine.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to identify and resolve workflow
bottlenecks.
• Improve engine integration with DCC (Digital Content Creation) tools.
• Contribute to development and optimization of rendering and graphics pipelines.
• Work with cross-platform toolsets and pipelines in a production environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in C++ programming (academic, personal, or professional).
• Experience with low-level graphics programming using APIs such as DirectX or OpenGL.
• Strong foundational math skills (linear algebra, geometry, etc.).
• PC development experience, including use of Visual Studio, Perforce, and other standard
development tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Playstation, Microsoft or Nintendo console experience.
• Familiarity with graphics and rendering pipelines in game engines.
• Experience with Python.
• Exposure to DCC tools such as Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Blender, and Substance
Painter.
• Maya scripting experience (Python or MEL).
• Coursework or personal projects in game development or graphics programming.• Experience working on or developing for MacOS (desired but not required).
