Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, recognized as Real Estate Agency Brand of the Year in the 26th Annual Harris Poll EquiTrend® Study and a leader in the real estate industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team in our Santa Barbara office.

This position supports the Santa Barbara Region and plays a key role in delivering high-quality marketing materials and branding initiatives that elevate our agents and listings.

 Purpose of Job

The Graphics Designer creates and directs graphics-related work for the real estate agents, branch offices and any special projects assigned by the Regional Marketing Manager. Design work will include print advertising, web site content, social media, direct mail pieces, collateral marketing pieces, logos, regional initiatives, digital campaigns, direct mail campaigns, flyers, and other promotional and presentation materials.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

  • Develop and implement design strategies to enhance real estate agents and brokerage brand image.
  • Create new designs for internal and external printed marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, advertising, posters, and direct marketing materials. May create and implement Internet and intranet graphics and banners.
  • Manage social media accounts and create, film, edit and post content to drive engagement.
  • Create presentation materials to support sales associates, branch manager, and branch offices.
  • Develop and implement design strategies to promote brand consistency.
  • May provide color copy support and binding of presentation materials for sales associates and branch offices.
  • Deliver designed materials to printers/vendors.

Perform any additional graphic design and administrative responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design; or equivalent work experience.

 Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a graphic designer on a variety of media sources.

 Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in PC design programs including; Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud; especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Adobe After Effects and Motion Graphics Software experience preferred.
  • Experience working for a well-known brand supporting a large sales force preferred.
  • Strong creative and conceptual skills.
  • Strong knowledge of printing and electronic production methods.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy/quality, detail oriented.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, a customer service focus and the ability to work as member in team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of real estate, title and/or mortgage business preferred.

Wage:   $30.50 - $33.50 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
