Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will create compelling visual content across fashion, digital and print platforms, translating Remilia's distinctive aesthetic into various applications while maintaining visual consistency and experimental edge. This role focuses on creative visual design execution - creating striking, original designs that express our unique cultural perspective across merchandise graphics, event materials, digital assets, and brand applications.

We value fresh, experimental approaches for each project, creating unique visual solutions that capture the spirit of each release or initiative. You'll work closely with our creative producer and fashion/design director, creating everything from apparel graphics and event posters to website elements and promotional materials.

Key ResponsibilitiesFashion & Merchandise Design
  • Design graphics for apparel including t-shirts, hoodies, accessories, and fashion items

  • Create artwork for limited edition releases and special collections

  • Develop visual elements that translate effectively onto various merchandise formats

  • Collaborate with fashion director on seasonal releases and product launches

  • Design packaging and tags that enhance the unboxing experience

Event & Cultural Materials
  • Create posters, flyers, and promotional materials for cultural events and releases

  • Design materials for underground music events, art exhibitions, and community gatherings

  • Develop visual assets for social media campaigns and digital marketing

  • Create striking visuals that capture the energy of subcultural movements

  • Design materials that work across both digital sharing and physical distribution

Digital Visual Design
  • Create visually compelling graphics for websites and digital platforms

  • Design social media content that maintains our distinctive aesthetic

  • Develop digital assets that support product launches and cultural initiatives

  • Create mockups and visual designs for implementation by development teams

  • Design graphics for our experimental social platform and digital experiences

Publications & Print Materials
  • Design publications, zines, and editorial materials

  • Create promotional materials and brand collateral

  • Develop production-ready files with appropriate specifications for various printing methods

  • Ensure quality control throughout physical production processes

  • Design materials that reflect our experimental approach to cultural production

Creative Collaboration
  • Work closely with creative producer and fashion/design director depending on project scope

  • Collaborate with broader creative team on integrated cultural initiatives

  • Contribute to conceptual development of new visual directions

Professional Experience & SkillsEssential Experience
  • 3+ years professional graphic design experience, preferably in cultural, fashion, or entertainment contexts

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, experimental graphic work including experimental digital experiences, creative posters, fashion graphics, cultural event materials, or similar projects

  • Experience creating graphics for merchandise, apparel, and fashion applications

  • Demonstrated ability to create distinctive visual solutions for each project

  • Comfort working in fast-paced creative environments with changing priorities

  • Background in music, fashion, or subcultural design

  • Experience with apparel graphics, screen printing, or merchandise production
