Job Overview

Crown + Conquer is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team. This role bridges the gap between Design and Art Direction, requiring a combination of hands-on design skills and the ability to lead projects. Reporting directly to the Design Director, the Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in transforming marketing and branding strategies into visually compelling campaigns and overseeing design outputs across both digital and physical executions. The role is based in Los Angeles.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Accounts, Strategy, and Production teams to align design concepts with client visions, brand standards, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead the creation of print and digital graphics for campaigns and live events, including assets for social media, web, print materials, environmental graphics, signage, branded merchandise, packaging, digital interfaces, micro-sites, and video.
  • Develop original identity systems and graphic executions for new campaigns or experiential properties.
  • Contribute to deck design and creation, producing internal brand and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners through the production phase, ensuring quality and consistency.

  • Proficiency in project management, capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and client needs, maintaining creative agility.
  • Strong alignment with client and agency creative goals, ensuring creative integrity.

Qualifications + Requirements

  • 4-7 years of graphic design experience, preferably in an agency setting, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a demonstrated portfolio.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing strong design skills and a unique aesthetic vision.
  • Experience in areas such as logo design, typography, color theory, web layout design, print production, and package design.
  • Familiarity with 3D and/or motion graphics, plus visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proven experience in creating brand identities and following brand guidelines.
  • Background in installations, exhibits, retail environments, pop-ups, or brand activations is a plus.
  • Passion for staying current with design trends and cultural movements.
  • Illustration skills are an additional asset.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to brand guidelines and new tools.
