We are the creators of Flipper Zero — a portable device for tech enthusiasts and engineers. It's a gadget with an awesome community that brings together millions of people around the world.

We are currently building BUSY — a unified ecosystem combining the BUSY Bar smart productivity multi-tool with the cross-platform BUSY App to help users stay focused and fight off notifications, social media, and all the other brainrot.

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to create illustrations and visual assets for different teams across Flipper — from internal communications and presentations to social media and specific product-related projects.

Requirements
  • Strong hand-drawing and illustration skills, without relying on AI-generated visuals

  • A strong visual eye and a good sense of aesthetics

  • Ability to quickly explore and produce multiple visual concepts and variations

  • A hands-on approach to design — AI should be a supporting tool, not a substitute for the designer’s own work

  • Solid proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

  • B1–B2 level of English

Nice-to-have
  • Experience with After Effects and/or motion design

  • Ability to create simple wireframes and basic interface structures

  • Experience creating visual assets for social media and marketing

Responsibilites
  • Creating internal visual assets for various teams across the company

  • Designing HR materials, including visual assets for job postings

  • Designing and formatting internal presentations

  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining the company’s design style guide

  • Creating visual content for social media

  • Supporting specific product-related design tasks as needed

  • Handling other ad hoc design requests from different teams across the company

What we offer
  • Choose your work format: office, hybrid, or fully remote from anywhere in the world

  • You will be provided with all the necessary equipment for a comfortable working environment

  • Benefits such as VHI, corporate sports, foreign language courses, and therapy sessions

  • A five-day workweek with a flexible start of the working day

We’d love to see your work, so please include a link to your portfolio with your application.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
