GungHo Online Entertainment America Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of the Japanese gaming company GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc. We publish titles across multiple platforms ranging from AAA to handheld to mobile. Our group is comprised of veterans from various aspects of the industry who are brought together by one simple thing: a love of gaming.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for creating graphic and visual designs, collaborating with vendors on designing exhibit artwork, and organizing the production of physical promotional items for all game titles. This position is also responsible for managing the work of external designers doing work for our titles. Job duties also include assessing priorities, managing overall quality, and making sure that creative assets accomplish the goals they’re made to achieve.
What you’ll be doing:
Graphic Design
- Create and design in-game event banners and graphics for game titles.
- Create and design new visuals for live stream programs.
- Design artwork and graphics showcased at events and ensure that all visuals accurately represent and successfully promote game titles.
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of artwork for promotional items and booth visuals.
- Collaborate with vendors on artwork and ensure production progress is on schedule.
- Coordinate and oversee the production of promotional items with manufacturers to ensure product’s quality and its timely delivery for events and campaigns.
- Create and update brand guides for respective game titles.
Management
- Manage day to day tasks of external designers working on our projects
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of assets made by external vendors
- Ensure that the assets achieve the goals they’re designed for
- Manage the morale and training of team members
- Ensure proper guidelines are enforced for game title’s marketing assets working with supervisor.
Other & Miscellaneous
- Test prototypes of future game titles to provide constructive feedback for improvement in future builds.
- Assist with website design and asset creation on games as needed.
- Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties that are assigned by upper management.
- Travel on business or works beyond normal work hours when necessary.
Qualifications / desired experience:
- Must have 2- 3 years of experience in the same or similar role.
- Video editing and motion graphics is a plus
- Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Must provide portfolio via web link (please use the “Website, Blog, or Portfolio” section of the application)
- Enjoy working in a small, agile team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary Range: $48,000 - $57,000
