 In this role

You will join a future-of-work research and insights team that produces thought leadership, marketing campaigns, and executive communications. As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key part in shaping how research and storytelling are visually communicated. You’ll design executive presentations, create marketing assets across channels, and contribute to the team’s design system to ensure brand consistency. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments, enjoys turning complex ideas into compelling visuals, and is eager to experiment with new tools—especially AI—to push creative boundaries.

Responsibilities
  • Presentation Design – Create visually compelling, brand-aligned presentations for executive and external audiences.

  • Marketing Visual Assets – Develop still and motion graphics for marketing initiatives across digital and social channels.

  • Design System Contributions – Build and maintain design system assets that support scalability and consistency across campaigns.

  • Editorial & Layout Design – Apply strong skills in typography, layout, and information graphics to simplify complex information into engaging visuals.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Work with marketers, researchers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into effective visual storytelling.

  • Deadline & Quality Management – Deliver high-quality design work on time while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications
  • 2–4+ years of professional graphic design experience (3–5 years ideal).

  • Strong portfolio showcasing presentation design, layout, and marketing assets (portfolio required for consideration).

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or Keynote (minimum 2+ years).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects (minimum 2+ years).

  • Experience with Figma (minimum 1+ year).

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and information graphics.

  • Ability to deliver polished design work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing executive-level presentations for consultancies, agencies, or corporate communications.

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and micro-animations to enhance presentations and storytelling.

  • Experience contributing to or working within design systems.

  • Strong interest in AI-driven creative tools and how they can support design workflows.

  • Background in editorial design or communications-focused design projects.

Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $22 to $24.50 USD/hourly. The final wage and job title for this opening will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
