Our team is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through Elation Health, a SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. Since inception, we’ve focused on building a delightful world-class experience that empowers physicians to deliver phenomenal care to patients. Join our mission as we help to enable every patient to the highest quality of care.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You might describe yourself as a thoughtful, creative, and detail-oriented, professional designer. You have experience crafting compelling brand experiences and building cohesive design systems that span across multiple channels. You thrive on balancing creativity with structure, ensuring every asset feels fresh, yet familiar to the brand's identity. You're equally energized by big-picture thinking and pixel-perfect execution, and you're known for your ability to turn complex concepts into clear, captivating visuals.

As the Graphic Design Specialist, you will help shape and evolve our brand identity as we continue to grow. Working cross-functionally with the marketing team and other departments, you'll bring the brand to life through digital, print, and experiential assets. You'll be a part of the Corporate Comms function within Marketing and partner with agency designers, marketers, and stakeholders to ensure every touchpoint feels intentional and cohesive. Whether you're refining templates for social media, designing high-impact campaign visuals, or helping to build out a scalable design system, your work will have a lasting impact on how our brand shows up in the world.

This role is built for someone who's equal parts creative problem-solver and process-driven thinker. You're excited by the challenge of working across mediums and channels, and you're comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Collaboration is your default mode, and you're always ready to give and receive feedback in service of the best possible outcome. You're energized by working on a growing brand and you're always looking for ways to push the creative boundaries while staying true to brand guidelines.

Your role will include:

  • Design multi-channel campaign assets: Conceptualize and create on-brand visuals for social media, email, web, print, and experiential initiatives that support marketing and business goals.
  • Create templates and tools: Develop templates and reusable components that empower internal teams to create on-brand content efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with marketing, other internal teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and consistency in all design outputs.
  • Contribute to motion and interactive design: Build simple animations, infographics, and interactive visuals that bring stories to life.
  • Ensure brand consistency: Serve as a brand steward, ensuring all visual work adheres to established brand guidelines while allowing room for creative evolution.
  • Lead quality assurance checks: Review and refine design deliverables to ensure they're error-free, on-brand, and ready for production.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creative problem-solving, loves to bring order to chaos, and is passionate about the power of design to shape perception and drive impact. Your close collaboration with the marketing team will be essential in delivering a polished, modern, and inspiring brand presence that connects with audiences across all touchpoints.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have 3+ years of experience creating compelling, cross-channel brand experiences that drive engagement and elevate brand perception.
  • You've helped maintain brand systems, ensuring consistency while adapting core brand elements for multiple platforms and use cases.
  • You have experience working with cross-functional teams to bring brand identities to life through campaigns, templates, and other creative assets.
  • You're highly proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva, with a growing interest in motion graphics and emerging design technologies.
  • You're adept at managing multiple projects, balancing competing deadlines, and working within a project management system to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
  • You have a solid understanding of accessibility-focused design principles, ensuring your designs are inclusive and impactful for diverse audiences.
  • You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, maintaining composure and focus as priorities shift.
  • You have excellent communication skills and know how to present your creative ideas clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS

  • Empathy-Driven Design: You approach every project with the end user in mind, crafting experiences that are clear, accessible, and meaningful.
  • Proactive Communication: You keep stakeholders informed every step of the way, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and progress.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-changing environment, easily pivoting when priorities shift, and remaining focused on delivering great work.
  • Attention to Detail: You have a meticulous eye for design, catching inconsistencies in visuals, copy, and technical execution before they go live.
  • Design Aptitude: You bring a deep understanding of design principles—color, typography, layout—and know how to make a brand look cohesive across web, print, and physical touchpoints.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You work seamlessly with marketers, product teams, and stakeholders, integrating feedback into your work with patience and precision.

Salary range: $55,000-65,000

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
