We design, innovate, and deliver the full spectrum of investment solutions—spanning active and index strategies, across every product vehicle—to help clients achieve their most important financial outcomes. As part of GPS, you will contribute directly to the next chapter of growth for our platform and the firm, while collaborating with teams across the globe.

The Opportunity

  • Streamline decision-making: Help build and evolve pricing frameworks that bring clarity and consistency to strategic pricing discussions.
  • Be a connector: Foster collaboration across teams, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and decisions are informed by a holistic perspective.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with precision and focus.
  • Strong analytical toolkit: capable of synthesizing complex, sometimes incomplete data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust and influence with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, commercial environment and works well both independently and as part of a global team.
  • Excellent communicator, able to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (SQL/Python/PowerBI/Dynamics a plus).

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial services, investment management, consulting, or a related field.
For San Francisco, CA and New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$137,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
