About the Role

Radicle Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate the execution of its GovRAMP compliance initiative. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, this role will focus on project planning, resource coordination, milestones, timelines, status reporting, and proactive risk escalation. The Project Manager will coordinate Security, Engineering, IT, Compliance, and external partners, ensuring clear ownership and timely delivery. This is a project management position, not a hands-on cybersecurity or compliance engineering role.

*This is a 12-month contract role with potential to hire

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

  • Work closely with the CISO to understand drivers, expectations and potential bottlenecks for the GovRAMP project.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated project plan with milestones, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and assigned owners.
  • Coordinate cross functional workstreams, schedule working sessions, and follow up on action items and commitments.
  • Track progress against baseline dates, manage critical path dependencies, and identify schedule impacts early.

Resource and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate engineering, infrastructure, security, compliance, consultants, vendors, and external assessors.
  • Work with functional leaders to identify resource needs, capacity conflicts, and competing priorities.
  • Ensure participants understand responsibilities, deliverables, and deadlines without assuming direct line-management authority.

Reporting and Communication

  • Maintain project dashboards, milestone trackers, decision logs, and concise weekly status reports.
  • Report progress, upcoming deadlines, resource constraints, and decisions needed to the CISO and project stakeholders.

Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management

  • Maintain a project risk, issue, and dependency register with owners, mitigations, due dates, and escalation paths.
  • Escalate blockers and schedule or resource risks promptly; coordinate resolution and track closure.

GovRAMP Project Coordination

  • Coordinate readiness, evidence collection, control remediation, assessment preparation, and authorization milestones.
  • Track required documentation and technical deliverables owned by Security, Compliance, and Engineering.
  • Coordinate external assessment schedules and maintain visibility into outstanding deliverables.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex IT, technology, or cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, and project risks.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or comparable project management tools.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods and driving accountability without direct authority.

Preferred

  • Experience coordinating GovRAMP, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or comparable compliance initiatives.
  • Experience scheduling third-party assessments, audits, or certification projects.
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud technology, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Key Competencies

  • Planning and execution: Creates clear plans and follows through on commitments.
  • Communication: Provides concise, timely updates and escalates risks before deadlines are missed.
  • Coordination: Aligns teams and resolves dependencies across organizational boundaries.
  • Accountability: Maintains accurate project records, owners, and status.

Compensation: $72.00/hour

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
