You’llbe responsible for completing the government insuring process for FHA, VA, and USDA loans post-closing and ensuring loans are insured in a timely and accurate manner. Key Responsibilities
- Submit and track mortgage insurance applications for FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
- Process Upfront Mortgage Insurance Premium (UFMIP) and VA Funding Fee (VAFF) payments, ensuring proper submission to HUD and VA.
- Reconcile and resolve case number warnings, errors, and corrections in FHA Connection or VA WebLGY.
- Validate final closing documents for compliance with government insuring requirements.
- Research and resolve rejected case binders or insurance certificates.
- Monitor pipeline, follow up on missing documentation, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and support audits, HUD/LRS reviews, and agency reporting.
- Stay current with FHA, VA, and USDA guideline updates.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned due to business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage post-closing, insuring, or government loan processing.
- Familiarity with FHA Connection, VA WebLGY, and USDA guarantee systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and research abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
