We’re looking for a Google / YouTube Strategist to join our Paid Media team and own one of our most important growth channels. This role is responsible for scaling Google and YouTube performance while hitting CAC targets, building full-funnel strategies, and partnering closely with creative, ecommerce, and paid media teammates.

What You’ll DoChannel Strategy & Execution
  • Own strategy and day-to-day performance across Google Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube
  • Scale Google & YouTube to 15-20%+ of total paid media spend while maintaining efficiency
  • Build and optimize full-funnel campaigns across brand defense, prospecting, and conversion
  • Maintain strong brand impression share while expanding reach to high-intent and in-market audiences
Performance & Optimization
  • Monitor and analyze performance daily, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Continuously test audiences, bidding strategies, creatives, and formats
  • Optimize toward CAC, contribution margin, and new customer acquisition goals
  • Use data to make fast, confident decisions on budget allocation and scaling
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with creative teams to provide feedback on what’s working (and why)
  • Work with ecommerce and growth teams to align paid media with merchandising and site initiatives
  • Share insights that help improve SEO and organic YouTube performance through paid learnings
Insights & Learning
  • Build and maintain a clear performance feedback loop across teams
  • Document tests, results, and learnings to inform future strategy
  • Surface patterns across audiences, products, and creatives to unlock new growth opportunities

Requirements
  • 4–5+ years of hands-on experience managing Google & YouTube Ads for DTC eCommerce brands (US-focused)
  • Proven experience managing $200k+/month budgets
  • Strong track record of scaling YouTube ads aggressively
  • Experience working with 8–9 figure DTC brands, in-house or at an agency
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear actions
  • Strong collaborator who communicates clearly with creative and ecommerce partners
  • Ownership-driven senior IC who thrives in a fast-moving, remote environment
    Bonus:
  • Experience aligning paid media with SEO or organic YouTube strategies
  • Experience across additional paid channels (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
