The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospace's strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise. The division leverages a broad array of engineering disciplines against a diverse and dynamic portfolio of programs, customers, and national challenges. EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space and space-enabled capabilities.
The Enterprise Integration Solutions Office guides the solution of cross-agency, multi-mission capability orchestration problems by building and leveraging integration expertise throughout the corporation. We build agile project teams who collaborate across disciplines, customers, international partners, and industry in support of national outcomes.
The Director for Golden Dome Integration will lead a lean organization chartered to orchestrate the analytic support needed to help the government successfully field a homeland missile defense shield. They will work closely in partnership with counterparts across Aerospace's customer base in pursuit of enterprise integration for the Golden Dome by serving as the primary integrator of multidisciplinary work spanning systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and architecture design across our government customer base.
Work Model:
This full-time position requires 100% onsite work in Huntsville, AL, El Segundo, CA, or Crystal City, VA.
What You'll Be Doing

  • Orchestrating an integrated approach for our technical efforts in support of the development and fielding of the Golden Dome capability
  • Partnering with counterparts across the Aerospace customer base to ensure responsive delivery of consistent results that natively include broader enterprise context
  • Integrating multidisciplinary analytic efforts and teams to deliver the insights needed to accomplish enterprise integration across the elements of the end-to-end Golden Dome capability
  • Cultivating close working relationships with corporate and government representatives for programs pursuing elements of the end-to-end Golden Dome capability
  • Fostering an organizational culture that promotes innovation and collaboration, developing and leveraging relationships with peer organizations, creating and leading teams of multi-discipline analysts formed from across peer organizations
  • Coordinating complex technical tasks among customers, managing resources to efficiently staff and execute projects, and ensuring quality and accuracy of work products
  • Recruiting, on-boarding, and developing a lean staff team through formal and informal performance management, evaluation, mentoring, and coaching across a national organization
  • Monitoring, directing, and improving the organization's processes, functions, compliance, and safety awareness


What You Need to be a Successful Director, Golden Dome Integration

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related discipline
  • 10 years demonstrated experience leading studies and analysis teams, coordinating complex technical tasks among team members, and translating customer needs into viable instructions for analysts
  • Knowledge of relevant government space and ground mission architectures
  • Experience in identifying, prioritizing, and resolving technical and/or personnel issues.
  • Experience with staff development and mentoring
  • Ability to flex communication styles for productive interactions with staff, collaborators, and customers
  • Willing to travel to meet the needs of the organization and customers, approximately 10-25% of the time
  • This position requires a current and active TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.


How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Current and relevant SAP clearance
  • Leadership experience in a customer-facing organization
  • Demonstrated strength in the assessment of missile defense shield concepts and their dependencies
  • Demonstrated strength in driving integration of program elements acquired from across multiple government agencies
  • Experience collaborating in major MS&A and acquisition initiatives across other FFRDCs, government entities, UARCs, SETAs and/or industry
  • Financial and business acumen through program / business unit leadership
  • Master's or PhD degree in a related STEM discipline

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
