About the Role

A fast-moving Supply Technology team is scaling how it acquires, enriches, and acts on data across multiple supply verticals, including hotels, homes, services, and experiences. We are looking for a Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineer with strong Data Operations instincts to sit at the center of that effort.

This is primarily a hands-on implementation role. You will manage and enrich data from internal and third-party sources, turn fragmented and messy data into clean and usable views, and build the automations that put that data to work for sales, growth, and account management teams. The ideal person brings a go-to-market sensibility and a business stakeholder orientation. You enjoy assessing a complicated data landscape, making a call on the best path forward, and then building it.

This is not a dedicated data engineering or data architecture role. We are less focused on heavy pipeline engineering and more focused on practical, business-facing implementation that helps go-to-market teams move faster.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the data sources the team relies on, including internal data and publicly available third-party data
  • Clean, combine, and present structured and unstructured data into unified and actionable views for business stakeholders
  • Build on top of Clay platform outputs and integrate them with internal data warehouse sources
  • Support lead enrichment activities across supply verticals, with a hotel vertical enrichment project as an early priority
  • Partner with vertical stakeholders to strategize outreach and consolidate contact data into a single reliable view
  • Contribute to internal tooling and prototype development that supports go-to-market motions
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated, hands-on Clay platform experience. You can walk through a real Clay instance or workflow you have personally built and set up. Roughly one year or more of practical use is ideal, though depth of implementation matters more than exact years
  • SQL proficiency for querying internal data sources and building integrations with a data warehouse and other third-party data sources
  • A strong ability to think through how to combine unstructured and structured data and present it clearly
  • A go-to-market and business stakeholder orientation, with the judgment to balance technical work against practical business needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Data storytelling, dashboarding, or business intelligence capabilities
  • Workflow automation experience with tools such as n8n or Zapier
  • Experience leveraging multiple third-party data sources and enrichment tools
  • Marketplace or platform industry background
  • Comfort working with CRM data and field mappings
  • Experience building lightweight internal tools and prototypes

Key Details
  • Start Date: August 2026

  • Contract Duration: Through Dec 31 with possibility of extension

  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Location: Remote (US based), PST preferred

  • Compensation: $70-$85 per hour (W2)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
