The Inside Sales Account Manager role is part of the Discovery Commercial organization and will be remote supporting the Continental West region of the US and Canada.

This position reports to the US Continental Zone Leader and is part of the Genomic Medicine Account Management Team and will be fully remote.

What you will do:

  • Design and execute account specific business plans including customer goals, strategic initiatives, opportunity development, relationship mapping, and competitive threats.

  • Take ownership of own pipeline and accountable for sales targets, proactively reviewing conversion rates, bottlenecks, and speed to close.

  • Develop proposal, generate quote, negotiate with customer stakeholders, and finalize product specs.

  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product, coordinating with Customer Service to update customer of any changes to the delivery timeline or order process.

  • Lead account team through sales cycle, from opportunity discovery through deal closure.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or the equivalent experience in similar industry

  • At least 2 years of relevant sales experience

  • Exceptional telephone prospecting skills with problem-solving mindset and organized follow-up.

  • Self-starter, comfortable setting and working toward ambitious goals and working independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills to confidently convey high value, product quality and diverse capabilities.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Position Location: Remote

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Direct sales within Life Sciences or adjacent field

  • Funnel Management in Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms)

The salary range for this role is $80,000- $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
