Job Description SummaryThe Global Sourcing Finance Manager will provide financial planning, analysis, and controllership support for the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and Central Sourcing Leaders. This role will collaborate with the Product Sourcing and Indirect Sourcing Leaders to ensure global sourcing strategies align with business segment objectives. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to act as a business partner to the sourcing team, driving business initiatives, enhancing productivity, optimizing payment terms, shaping business strategy, ensuring controllership, and maximizing profitability.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Support annual and long-term financial planning processes.

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Sourcing Function.

  • Track financial aspects of approved projects and investments.

Supplier Management:

  • Review key contracts and implement financial controls to enhance accountability and cost efficiency.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with supplier contracts and procurement activities.

  • Provide financial analysis for supplier risk and advance processes, developing plans to mitigate risk and ensure advance collection.

  • Support supplier strategy to reduce the cost of poor quality.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead a team of four direct reports.

  • Partner with sourcing leaders to develop effective plans for deflation, AWT improvement, and material variance targets.

  • Serve as a financial advisor in cross-functional sourcing initiatives.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sourcing initiatives with overall business objectives.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic sourcing decisions.

  • Communicate results and drive consistency and standardization across all GEHC business segments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with 10+ years of financial work experience; OR high school diploma/GED with 12 years of progressive financial work experience.

  • Experience with financial systems/applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change across all levels, functions, and regions/SBUs.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to add value to the operating team.

  • Controllership experience with a demonstrated understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership.

  • Experience working in a global business environment with a sound understanding of global processes and transactional flows.

  • Adaptable and flexible, open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Basic understanding of financial compliance (SOX, GAAP).

  • Training and/or certification in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $168,000.00-$252,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
