Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Product Line Manager - Modular.

Reporting to the VP, Product Line Strategy & Business Development, the Global Product Line Director – Modular will be pivotal in driving our product portfolio expansion of Modular Datacenter Infrastructure products, ensuring market share leadership via organic and inorganic growth, and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization. The team will possess a strong background in P&L management, customer relationships, market strategy, pricing strategy and operational excellence, research and development with a keen focus on sustainability and compliance (IEC and UL) with industry standards. This team will be compromised of SME's that will play a leading role in driving thought leadership for the product line and will work across other Flex business units to position Flex as a leader in the space.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Leadership & Team Development: lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. As well as drive succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline and career development opportunities for team members.
  • P&L Management: oversee the P&L for the product line, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maximized. As well as analyze financial performance and implement strategies to enhance margin and return on sales (ROS).
  • Product Line Strategy & Business Development: develop and execute a comprehensive Product line strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead M&A initiatives to enhance market position and drive growth, including due diligence and integration planning.
  • Market Share Leadership: robust R&D with a concentration on vitality and product market leadership. As well as establish the company as a market subject matter expert (SME).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of management experience. 
  • Electrical product experience.
  • Proven track record in P&L management and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, M&A processes, and industry standards (NEMA/IEC).
  • Experience in sustainability initiatives and ESG strategies.
  • Must have direct leadership experience, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hyperscale and Colocation market knowledge preferred.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate$165,200.00 USD - $227,100.00 USD Annual
