Job Summary 

The Global Industry Strategist for Media, Entertainment and Telco at Adobe will support the development and execution of Adobe’s global industry strategies in collaboration with regional teams. This role is designed for a manager-level professional within the Digital Strategy Group (DSG), focusing on scaling standard methodologies, supporting strategic customer engagements, and driving industry-specific initiatives. The strategist will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partner teams to align Adobe’s offerings with the unique needs of the Media & Entertainment and Telco industry. 

Key Responsibilities 

Industry Strategy Support 

  • Assist in the development of global and regional Media, Entertainment and Telco industry plans. 

  • Contribute to the prioritization of strategic accounts and solution-led opportunities. 

  • Monitor industry trends and find opportunities for innovation and growth. 

Best Practices and Enablement 

  • Gather and share best practices across regions to support scalable execution. 

  • Support the creation of enablement materials tailored to Media & Entertainment use cases. 

  • Collaborate with the enablement team to deliver consistent training programs globally. 

Thought Leadership and Marketing 

  • Contribute to the development of industry positioning and messaging. 

  • Support the creation of thought leadership content and marketing assets. 

  • Assist in managing a marketing calendar and coordinating global and regional events. 

Customer Engagement 

  • Support strategic customer engagements aligned with industry strategies. 

  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop and promote customer success stories. 

Product and Partner Collaboration 

  • Provide input on industry-specific product recommendations and roadmaps. 

  • Engage with technology and consulting partners to develop use cases and drive pipeline. 

Webinars and Events 

  • Assist in planning and hosting webinars with globally relevant content. 

  • Represent Adobe’s Media & Entertainment strategy at internal and external events. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with DSG, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support execution of industry plans. 

  • Foster communication and alignment across teams to support critical initiatives. 

Metrics and Accountability 

  • Support tracking of industry-specific metrics including pipeline and revenue contributions. 

  • Contribute to reporting and analysis of critical initiatives and outcomes. 

Desired Outcomes 

  • Support the execution of strategic Media, Entertainment, and Telco deals through industry alignment. 

  • Improve consistency and scalability of industry strategies across regions. 

  • Contribute to the development of enablement materials and thought leadership. 

  • Strengthen collaboration across Adobe teams and partners focused on Media, Entertainment and Telco

Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of experience in the Media & Entertainment or Telco industry or related fields. 

  • Experience in strategy, marketing, or consulting roles within a global organization. 

  • Strong understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. 

  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills. 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $125,500 -- $220,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
