Job Description
Join J.P. Morgan as an Analyst in the Investor Client Management (ICM) Client Account Management (ICAM) team, where you will shape the strategic vision for our largest investor clients with a primary focus on Sponsors clients. This role offers career growth and the opportunity to leverage your strategic insights to drive business growth within a growing and dynamic client segment. Help launch and grow a new and important firmwide strategic client coverage initiative for Sponsors clients. Collaborate with global teams across lines of business and utilize advanced analytics to enhance client relationships and deliver value.
As an Analyst in the ICAM team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for J.P. Morgan's engagement with its largest and most sophisticated investor clients. Your primary focus will be on the Sponsors client segment - this is a sophisticated and dynamic client segment that is growing rapidly. You will help support a new firmwide client coverage initiative across the Corporate & Investment Bank and the Private Bank with a focus on the Markets line of business. In addition to your primary role supporting this initiative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the Markets Global ICM ICAM team which works to enhance global connectivity and drive business growth across Markets & Securities Services. Your strategic insights and leadership will support senior leaders firmwide as well as ICM Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs) in delivering value to our priority institutional clients.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of firmwide strategic initiatives to enhance client relationships and drive business growth, particularly within the Sponsors client segment.
  • Lead high-level client interactions and engagements, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and internal databases to ensure data integrity and generate insights to drive results.
  • Support the development and regular maintenance of firmwide client account plans and strategic briefings for senior management.
  • Support the development of client deliverables for external senior stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration across global teams and lines of business to ensure seamless client service and information flow.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives focused on Sponsors for senior management.
  • Drive innovation in client management processes, utilizing technology and data to enhance client intelligence and partnership efforts.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • FINRA Licenses: SIE, Series 7, Series 63
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Markets, Investment Banking, Private Banking, or related industry.
  • Experience in relationship management and/or client-facing function.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across global teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong numerical literacy and/or technical skills; demonstrated ability to work with large data sets.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic insights and efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and an inquisitive approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Understanding of Markets, Investment Banking or related industry products and services.
  • Experience in leading cross-asset or cross line of business strategic projects.
  • Experience working with the Sponsors, Alterative Asset Manager, Credit, Insurance, or related client segments.
  • Familiarity with thought leadership initiatives and client-specific account plans.
  • Background in fostering global team collaboration and seamless information flow.
