We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We’re hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Cyera is seeking a Global Expansion Project Manager - FedRAMP to bring structure and momentum to our FedRAMP program and our expansion into new international markets. You’ll sit within our GTM PMO and work closely with our Federal leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a high impact role for someone who is organized and administratively strong, thrives on managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced environment, and is comfortable helping build structure in a program that is still taking shape.

This position is based in our St. Louis office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary project manager for the FedRAMP program and global expansion initiatives, partnering with the Federal leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders within the GTM PMO.
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and deadlines across FedRAMP workstreams and expansion projects, flagging risks and slipped milestones early so leadership can act.
  • Attend meetings and working sessions, take detailed notes and minutes, and distribute decisions, action items, and next steps to the right people.
  • Follow up consistently with owners across teams to keep deliverables on track and information current.
  • Identify the key stakeholders for each global expansion market, gather regular updates from them, and consolidate those updates into clear status reports for leadership.
  • Support teams working with government entities by coordinating requests, documentation, and handoffs across internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain consistent project management processes, templates, and tools (such as Asana), keeping all projects, timelines, and statuses accurately tracked to provide real-time visibility.
  • Support adjacent initiatives as the program grows, including FedRAMP offsite planning and other work outside a traditional project management scope.
Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in project coordination, program management, or a similar administrative coordination role, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. Early-career candidates with strong coordination skills are welcome.
  • Track record of keeping multiple projects on schedule and following through under shifting priorities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and execute shared initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including taking meeting notes and minutes, tracking action items, and keeping stakeholders aligned on timelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to be direct and follow up with stakeholders who have differing priorities.
  • Comfortable working with project management tools (e.g., Asana) to manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple stakeholders into clear plans, timelines, and status updates for audiences at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a willingness to jump in on tasks outside a traditional project management scope.
  • Based in or near St. Louis, willing to work in the office regularly and travel once or twice a quarter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting FedRAMP authorization efforts, federal cybersecurity programs, or government-focused technology initiatives.
  • Experience working with federal agencies, government contractors, or technology companies expanding into the U.S. public sector.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP authorization processes, including security assessments, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and coordination with Third-Party Assessment Organizations (3PAOs).
  • Experience supporting government market entry, regulatory readiness, or international expansion initiatives.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
