Job Responsibilities :

The Global Esports Marketing Manager will lead and drive global esports projects and initiatives and oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate the Team Razer brand within the global esports ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Esports Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and management of global esports marketing projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives and strategic goals.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and regional esports teams, to integrate esports content and marketing efforts across all platforms and regions.

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for projects that drive Global Esports OKRs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Global Esports Initiatives:

  • Lead and manage global esports initiatives, including special content projects such as documentary series, player profiles, and event coverage.

  • Support ProSettings seeding efforts, ensuring that professional players have access to the latest gear and settings to optimize their performance.

  • Manage the team and process around conducting outreach to pro players and fostering relationships to promote the Team Razer brand and products.

  • Coordinate with global teams to support events, promotions, and other initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility and engagement within the esports community.

Content Strategy and Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that resonate with both hardcore esports fans and viewers, enhancing Razer’s brand presence across various platforms.

  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure that all esports content aligns with brand messaging, campaign goals, and community interests.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to propose innovative content formats and strategies that captivate our target audiences.

Community Engagement and Insights:

  • Oversee community engagement efforts, ensuring positive brand image and effective communication with the esports community through social media and other platforms.

  • Gather and analyze insights from the community to inform content strategies and improve brand offerings.

Performance and Trend Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze emerging trends within the esports community and broader entertainment sectors, leveraging data analytics to inform marketing strategies and community engagement.

  • Utilize analytics tools to track content performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics. Report findings to the Global Esports management team, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to benchmark our content's performance and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in esports marketing, project management, and content strategy, with a portfolio showcasing diverse and successful campaigns.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team.

  • Deep understanding of the esports landscape, including major titles, teams, players, and tournaments.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences.

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of using insights and data to drive marketing decisions.

  • Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools.

  • Willingness to travel to esports events, capture and work with assets as needed, and engage with the community.

This role is designed for individuals passionate about esports and marketing, eager to lead a team in producing innovative and impactful content and committed to driving Razer's success in the global esports arena.

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$81,822.00 - $136,370.00
