As Global Director, Naming at Siegel+Gale, you will: 

• Participate/facilitate client meetings and sessions

• Be a senior consulting role

• Manage a practice

• Lead client engagements

• Work and interact with team members from all departments

• Proactively seek new assignments and contributes to team

• Demonstrate curiosity and growth for/in our industry

• Thought leadership and development of new creative methodologies

• Run naming programs – end-to-end

• Be responsible for name generation, naming presentations, and briefs

• Deal with linguistic and TM analysis

• Contribute to naming business development – lead pitches, develop new business

• Proactively seek new assignments and contribute to team

• Actively integrate naming practice with other S+G practices

• Conduct appraisals and career development

• Have a strong presence in client meetings

• Communicate concerns or issues with supervisor immediately

• Seek and receive feedback professionally

You’re a great fit for this position if you have:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in running high profile naming programs from end-to-end (consumer, corporate and B2B naming experience required)

• Have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in the humanities

• Deep experience in presenting to C suite execs (EC + Board, etc.)

• Additional 5-10+ years in broader branding practices such as strategy, or design, writing, etc.

• Experience with Press and PR as it relates to naming

• Working knowledge of linguistics and trademark law

• Thought leadership in practice of naming and branding

• Business development experience

• Experience in creating high impact, innovative, breakthrough, on-strategy names and nomenclature systems, at a specialized or integrated firm or freelance/own business

• Experience in presenting and selling through names with clients where naming played a critical strategic role

• Experience in developing and presenting naming briefs and presentations

• Experience in working with strategist and practitioners from other creative disciplines such as design and copywriting

• Experience in hiring and managing employees

• P&L experience

• Strong writing skills, strong critical thinking, and creative skills

• Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in groups

• Background in linguistics, or be fluent in another language

• Committed to the pursuit of new ideas and ways of looking at creativity as it applies to branding and business

The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000.
