This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 12th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for entry-level talent or recent graduates interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
We are a part of the Motion Picture Group (MPG) and liaison between movie theatres and the movie studio. We work with all exhibitors globally. Our main focus is to execute promotions and events while marketing everything for our films online, on-screen and in-theatres.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Graphic Design - Create digital & social assets for exhibitors and partners to post on all of their social and online channels, generate promotional collateral as well as populate filmmaker decks
- Work with team to brainstorm and execute promotions & events in-theatres.
- Collaborate with various teams as needed (ie. screenings/group sales team, print/theatre team, av/content team, digital creative, social media, finishing, publicity).
- Work directly with department leaders on special projects.
- Some local travel to special events, screenings and premieres.
- Help organize and distribute marketing assets.
- Assist in pulling together marketing summary decks and campaign results
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Intermediate knowledge in Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe Acrobat/Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a car
- Great attitude, openness and willingness to learn
- Can chat with anyone, excited about movies, movie theatres, marketing and promotions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Movie theatre experience
- Speak another language (i.e. Spanish, etc.)
The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
