ROLE SUMMARY
The Leadership Engagement & Development Team lead is responsible for the strategic approach, content development, cross-functional partnership, and program delivery to ensure a best-in-class curriculum, continuous development and outcomes for leaders in the commercial organizations. The lead will work across a multi-stakeholder group and will manage a team of professionals to design and deliver the content and training that supports the commercial organization's strategy, values, and goals, ensuring leaders are offered needed curriculum and training to master leadership skills and coaching to engage and lead the team, and improving best in class customer facing strategy, capability and outcomes across the organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design complex sales and customer facing leadership programs to meet individual and organizational development needs within specified timescales and resources; identify and incorporate appropriate training methodologies and delivery channels; oversee the development of content to support high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
  • Manage the delivery of complex sales and customer facing leadership programs to ensure the engagement of learners and achievement of intended learning outcomes; engage with individual senior managers to deliver leadership development training or coaching and to support their personal development.
  • Lead development of coaching programs to enable sales leaders to effectively coach their teams, facilitate salesforce effectiveness and foster a conducive growth environment.
  • Lead the development and delivery of leader of leader's programs and curricula to enable senior CFC leader lines.
  • Engage with Commercial senior management to clarify organizational requirements, to set priorities for general and sales leadership development interventions, and to define required learning outcomes; specify and manage the collection and analysis of data to inform learning needs analysis.
  • Lead the development and implementation of leadership and sales leader development strategy, anticipating mega-trends and complex challenges and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.
  • Work in close cooperation with commercial and salesforce effectiveness, market research, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities that would enable sales leadership development.
  • Act as experts in leadership development and sales leadership, constantly acquiring newest best practice and industry development, shares it with the team, and leverages insights to shape and drive general and sales leadership development.
  • Communicate the actions needed to implement Global Customer Engagement Training's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
  • Participate in the selection of external consultants or advisers to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure that business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary.
  • Lead the development of partnering relationships with senior executives throughout the organization, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and ensuring that internal clients have access to high quality advice and guidance to support in delivering business strategy and plans.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required with 15+ years of experience in in leadership development, coaching or related experience
  • Previous experience leading people and matrixed organizations within commercial (i.e. sales, account management, marketing etc.)
  • Ability to align knowledge with business priorities and execute strategies accordingly
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet share objectives
  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Strong record of coaching teams to achieve personal and organizational goals
  • Project Management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects
  • People leadership experience, direct or cross-functional, including developing people to meet goals, providing constructive feedback, and employee motivation.
  • Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, develop new and better ways of working
  • Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with minimal direction
  • A track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
  • Experience leading a diverse team to achieve common goals, leveraging diverse perspectives.
  • Ability to understand the business environment and objectives and develop solutions accordingly

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $182,000.00 to $303,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
