Job Description
Commodities Trading team is responsible for developing and maintaining key client relationships, and for the origination, structuring and execution of energy commodity transactions across North America.
Position Summary:
As a Vice President / Executive Director on the Commodities Trading team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key client relationships, and for the origination, structuring and execution of energy commodity transactions across North America. You will need to be fluent in the relevant energy infrastructure and industry sectors. You will work with our partners in banking, sales, trading, risk, and research to provide comprehensive client coverage, including the provision of market information and transaction ideas that may meet our client's risk management or commodity financing objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining key client relationships for the origination, structuring and execution of energy commodity transactions across North America.
  • Be fluent in the relevant energy infrastructure and industry sectors.
  • Work with our partners in banking, sales, trading, risk, and research
  • Provide comprehensive client coverage, including the provision of market information and transaction ideas that may meet our client's risk management or commodity financing objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10+ years of experience in energy trading, structuring or origination
  • Developed and established relationships with key market participants
  • Critical thinker and driver of trade concepts and themes
  • Strong technical skills and deep understanding of relevant products and market structure
  • Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player that partners well with colleagues and can lead a diverse group of stakeholders through the various stages of the deal process
  • Proven track record of leading the negotiation and execution of structured commodities transactions
