Ruggable, a rapidly growing and innovative disruptor in the home goods industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Brand Director to lead our brand team. The ideal candidate is a driven and creative marketing leader with a deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape and has a keen sense for pop culture. This role requires a passion for the home goods sector and an innate ability to be a trendsetter and compelling brand storyteller. This role will bring our brand strategy to life and will be responsible for global brand strategy,  social media, influencer marketing, PR, product marketing, and seasonal campaign execution, with a core focus on driving brand awareness and sentiment.

This role will work cross functionally with Creative & Production, Integrated Marketing, Design & Merchandising, Product, Tech, International and the Ruggable X Partnerships team. 


What You’ll Do: 

  • Global Brand Strategy: Develop and execute the global brand strategy, building brand buzz, awareness and consumer love
  • Brand Identity: Lead the strategic process to define, maintain, and evolve our global brand positioning, aligning the direction across the organization
  • Brand Storytelling: Develop our content strategy and infuse a distinct brand narrative through all brand touch points
  • Campaign Management: Brief campaigns across brand, product, and seasonal collections to ensure they elevate the brand and align to business objectives
  • Organic Channel Strategy: Lead and oversee the strategy for social media, influencer marketing, public relations, brand partnerships and other brand activations
  • Brand Consistency: Act as the primary steward of the brand, ensuring consistency and continuity across all consumer touchpoints
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and cross-functional teams, particularly creative, design/merchandising, product, integrated marketing, tech, and Ruggable X partnership teams, to develop cohesive strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.


What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • 10+ years experience in brand marketing, preferably in a lifestyle category or in the home goods industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or similar relevant field.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful global brand strategies.
  • Upper funnel marketing experience.
  • Robust social media and influencer experience.
  • Deep experience crafting brand narrative and content strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of the current marketing landscape, including digital and social media trends.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and team player.

  • Deep passion for home goods & interiors


Compensation:

$150,000 - $175,000 per year base salary

  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
