Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Global Benefits Manager for 5 month to coverage for a team member on maternity leave. 

You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our global Benefits programs including vendor management. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal stakeholders, such as Compensation, HR Business Partners, Payroll and Legal and will champion all things benefits for Apollo.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of domestic and global benefits and LOA programs.
  • Lead and manage the annual open enrollment process, ensuring a smooth experience for all employees. 
  • Partner with our benefit brokers to operationalize our global benefits offerings, including in Canada, Poland and India, ensuring seamless administration of programs by vendors to maximize employee experience
  • Drive Benefits communication campaigns (Open Enrollment, Benefit updates, insurer changes, etc.) ensuring that benefit plan information is effectively communicated to employees. 
  • Offer day-to-day benefits support and address inquiries, assisting employees in navigating their benefit needs
  • Work closely with Payroll, HRIS (DarwinBox), and our People Operations team to ensure an exceptional employee experience as it relates to benefits management
  • Own all state and federal regulatory compliance filings, ensuring benefits programs adhere to applicable laws.

About You: 

  • You have 6+ years experience leading and driving benefits programs in a global organization.
  • You have a working knowledge of international health and general benefits offerings.
  • Knowledge and experience in leave of absence (LOA) programs. Both internal and via an external admin provider.
  • You can scale processes in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
  • You have strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and high attention to detail.
  • You possess an understanding of the global benefits landscape (specifically India, Poland, Mexico, & Columbia) along with experience deep and thoughtful analysis of the healthcare marketplace, as it relates to global employer plans.
  • You lead with data and have the ability to drive modeling and budgets to help make the best decisions for our people.
  • You are driven by delivering people-first programs.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on tasks and goals.
